Summer McMillan (she/her) MSW, RSW
I have been practicing social work for 15 years in the field of adult mental health across a broad range of experiences including trauma and stress, anxiety and depression, grief and loss, relationship issues, and self-esteem. I am committed to providing a safe, gentle, compassionate, and respectful therapeutic environment in which healing and recovery can naturally occur. Therapy can lead to improved coping and resilience, improved connection with self and others, and greater meaning/fulfillment in your life.
I utilize a number of therapeutic modalities including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT).
